Nectar racks are storage containers introduced in The Sims 3: World Adventures and The Sims 4: Horse Ranch. Their primary function is to store Nectar in basements to allow it to age.
The Sims 3: World Adventures
In The Sims 3, each rack can hold 15 bottles and takes up 1x2 spaces. Even though the rack is in the middle of two depth squares it occupies, it can be placed up against walls. Both racks can be found in the buy mode menu under "Storage" → "⛬ Miscellaneous".
The more expensive rack ages nectar faster than the cheaper one. 3 nectar racks can be stacked on top of each other (as a 2-stack can be placed on top of a 1-stack), though the 3rd one would clip into the floor above. Placing platform flooring on the floor above won't hide the top racks entirely, although the top rack then sticks out by a margin of only millimeters.
While they are empty by default if added to a public lot, one can ^ Ctrl+⇧ Shift+left-click on the rack while in buy mode to make it "Tasteable" or "Buyable". Tasteable nectar is free of charge, while buyable nectars depend on the "Regular Treasure Info" option, with the following options known to work, with rough estimates for prices that can vary significantly within each option:
- Amazing Nectar (~§5,000)
- Necteaux Amazing Nectar / Ancient Nectar (~§800)
- Nectar Bottle - Expensive (~§450)
- Nectar / Decent Nectar (~§150)
- Nectar Bottle - Medium (~§100)
- Nectar Bottle - Cheap (~§15)

The Sims 4: Horse Ranch
In The Sims 4, each rack can store 13 bottles of nectar and takes up 1/4th of a square, and racks can be stacked upon each other. Racks can be found in the Hobbies and Skills category in Object by Room and under Storage > Misc in Objects by Function.
Racks placed in basements will age nectar faster than those placed aboveground. They can be stacked infinitely, only being stopped by how high the ceiling is inside (limit of 3 for small wall height, 4 for medium height, and 5 for the tallest height), or the camera bounds itself outside.
While storing, Sims can store all nectar bottles or store all non-finely aged nectar bottles. Additionally, they can grab one nectar bottle, one finely-aged nectar bottle, all nectar bottles, or all finely-aged nectar bottles. Players also have the option to name their nectar racks for easier visual storage.
