The Quantum Power Chamber is an object in The Sims 3: Into the Future Limited Edition, found in the Electronics section of Buy Mode. Sims can use it to enter hibernation or to put on the Quantum Power Suit.
Hibernation
A playable Sim can choose to enter hibernation, wherein they will walk inside the chamber and will be frozen in often silly postures. While hibernating, small electric zaps can be seen flying around inside.
A Sim's needs and age will remain frozen while hibernating. The needs will additionally be filled up, normally resulting in the Having A Blast and Squeaky Clean moodlets for a combined +50 mood, and any Fatigued moodlet will instantly be removed.
They will however still be aware to things near them in regards to moodlets, e.g. stereos, house decor, nearby spoiled food plates, incense,[TS3:WA] and dirty laundry,[TS3:A][TS3:UL][TS3:TLS] and they will get the Stir Crazy moodlet from not leaving home if the hibernation is on their home lot.
If the Sim wears the Quantum Power Suit at the time they enter hibernation, the suit's +15 moodlet will still be applied.
If the Chamber is placed outdoors, their temperature[TS3:S] will not increase, and the effects of the Loves the Outdoors and Hates the Outdoors traits are applied for the Sim.
If the player wakes up the Sim from hibernation, the Sim will get the Hibernation Sickness -15 moodlet for 6 hours. A glitch causes the magic power meter of witches[TS3:SN] to instantly empty when entering hibernation and to remain empty while hibernating. Another glitch causes a Sim's student term performance at Sims University[TS3:UL] to increase to 100% within a few in-game minutes.
Quantum Power Suit
A playable Sim can choose to put on the Quantum Power Suit, which gives the 
"Suited Up" +15 moodlet indefinitely until taking off the suit again, and which has some advanced functions:
- "Scan Environment…": Scanning for nearby collectibles. Options are limited to "Rocks, Gems, and Metals", "Insects", and "Seeds".
- "Run Bio-Stabilizer": Averages some of the Sim's motives.
- "Jump through Wormhole": Teleports the Sim to a public lot of their choice. However, it cannot be used to travel to a specific clicked-on spot, in contrast to the teleportation pad.
- "Send Sim through Wormhole": Same as above, but sends another Sim of their choice to the public lot.
Sims cannot travel to sub-worlds while wearing the Quantum Power Suit.
Among the life states that cannot put on the suit are Plumbots and Toad Sims.[TS3:SN]
For the purposes of The Sims 3: Seasons temperatures, the warmth/coldness increase rates are roughly equivalent to those of swimwear.
