Splash pad area in Gilbert Gardens neighborhood of San Sequoia.

Splash pads are objects introduced in The Sims 4: Growing Together. There are three different sized splash pads, three emitters, and three decorative objects that can be purchased from build mode. Splash pads and their related objects can be placed both indoors or outdoors, and the different objects can be mixed and matched.

Sims aged toddler and older can interact with splash pad emitters, which raises their fun motive. Sims will not automatically change into their swimwear before playing in the water. Splash pad emitters are considered a hazard for Servos[TS4:DU]; playing with one will rapidly decrease their durability and may cause them to break down.

There is one pre-built splash pad area, which is found in the Gilbert Gardens neighborhood of San Sequoia.

Splash pads

The actual splash pads, which have no functionality themselves, come in three sizes, each with a variety of shapes, colors, and designs. There is a paragraph in the description of each splash pad that reads:

For Use: Place a single Splash Pad for some simple backyard fun OR mix and match to create your own, unique Splash Pad play area! Add emitters and let the water fun begin!

Image Name Price Description
Splash Pad - Small Splash Pad - Small §250 This Splash Pad might be small, but doesn't that make it more approachable? And think of how well it'll fit into the backyard!
Splash Pad - Medium Splash Pad - Medium §375 Some Splash Pads are just a little too big and some are just a little too small—but this one is perfect for some family-friendly afternoon fun.
Splash Pad - Large Splash Pad - Large §500 Just think of all the emitters you could fit on a Splash Pad of this size! There will be room for the whole family to run around and play in the water.

Splash pad emitters

There are three different splash pad emitters that can be bought from build mode. These emitters are what Sims interact and play with. Emitters do not need to be placed on a splash pad to function properly. Emitters placed by the player can be turned on and off. There is a paragraph in the description of each splash pad emitter that reads:

For Use: Place this emitter (or as many as you'd like) onto any of the various Splash Pads to create your own Splash Pad play area.

Image Name Price Description Water Efficiency
Splash Pad Emitter - Basic Splash Pad Emitter - Basic §100 The most classic of Splash Pad emitters! It may be simple, but it's certainly not lacking in fun! 3
Splash Pad Emitter - Ball Splash Pad Emitter - Ball §250 It's round! And everyone knows that round is the most fun of all shapes. Play ball! Or Splash Pad...technically. 3
Splash Pad Emitter - Mushroom Splash Pad Emitter - Mushroom §400 A mushroom emitter is particularly fun because the overhang lets all the water fall down over you! What is more fun than that? (Don't tell, but it's our favorite of the Splash Pad emitters. Even if round shapes are pretty fun.) 3

Splash pad decorations

The follow objects are non-functional and purely decorative. They are intended to be placed in a splash pad play area, but can be placed anywhere. The Whalebert sculpture emits water, but Sims cannot interact with it.

Image Name Price Description Environment
Splash Pad Flower Fun Sculpture Splash Pad Flower Fun Sculpture §425 Does your Splash Pad need some more flower power fun? This is the sculpture for you! 2
Splash Pad Shady Leaf Sculpture Splash Pad Shady Leaf Sculpture §425 Real trees drop leaves, which can be a problem for splash pads. Nobody likes old wet moldy leaves underfoot! This sculpture is shady and adds to the aesthetic of any splash pad area, but it won't shed leaves! So it really is a win-win sort of sculpture. 2
Splash Pad Whalebert Splash Pad Whalebert §100 Now you can have your very own Whalebert! Based off of San Sequoia's beloved neighborhood Whalebert, this backyard friend comes in a variety of fun colors and is ready to lounge in your personal splash pad play area. 4
