Timaeus Goth is a pre-made deceased Sim who resided in Sugar Maple Coast from The Sims 3: Pets for console. Not much is known about him since he is deceased at the start of the game, and it is impossible to make him playable.
According to his biography, Timaeus is the oldest known member of the Goth family. He served as the captain of The Hawthorne (alternatively spelled Hawthorn) and was one of the founders of Sugar Maple Coast, which was formerly known as Gilman Hill. It is likely that Timaeus once lived in the Goth Manor, located across from the graveyard where he is now buried, as its description mentions that he is said to haunt its halls.
Timaeus is buried at the Goth Family Cemetery alongside Angela Gilman, who married a Goth man, much to the chagrin of her father, James Gilman. The Goth clan left the town shortly after her death. One of their descendants, Rebecca Goth, grew up hearing stories of her great-grandfather and the town he helped establish. Upon moving to Sugar Maple Coast, she began investigating the many mysteries surrounding her family’s history.
Although unconfirmed, the Goth man Angela married may have been Timaeus. Furthermore, a portrait of a man named Ezra Goth can be found in the Old Gilman Farmstead, hinting at another possible connection between the two families.
