The Crumplebottom family is undoubtedly one of the most emblematic and enigmatic within The Sims franchise. Across the different installments, Maxis has created several versions of this character, each with its own story, aesthetic, and personality. The title of this post pretty much gives it away - I'm retiring as a bureaucrat and admin on The Sims Wiki.

It should be pretty obvious, based on my thin editing history over the last few years, that I really don't participate here like I used to. The Sims Wiki used to be a place I'd visit every day, usually several times a day. My interest in participating here even lasted long after I stopped regularly playing The Sims games. Truthfully, I feel like I've invested a lot of time and energy into this place, and it has been that investment more than anything else which has kept me from making this step for so long. Basically I would use NRAAS traveller to have, basically any premade as tourists, and use nraas instant baby to make the child which will e raised by my sim instead

Man, do people even make these things anymore? I'm starting to feel old.

As you can tell from the title, after some consideration I've made the decision to move on and I've removed both my administrator and bureaucrat rights. I no longer have any interest in The Sims, nor do I have the desire to maintain the wiki when I could spend my increasingly limited free time doing something that I enjoy doing more. I realized this soon after I returned but I decided to stick with it and see if I found motivation again but I think it's time to move on. I have done my part, and I am content with that. I believe I've removed myself from all the appropriate pages but if I've missed some I apologize.
