A searchlight is a lighting object in The Sims 3, which lights up into the sky at set but unclear times. They are most commonly found near stadiums, where they light up during matches. Searchlights (referred to as spotlights) are also available in The Sims 4: Get Famous, where they will automatically turn on at nighttime if left at their default settings. They can be found outside Studio PBP in Starlight Boulevard.
