June Shallow is a pre-made playable Sim residing in Riverview, one of the worlds available for purchase from The Sims 3 Store. She lives with her husband, Tom, their two children, Dallas and MaryKay, and her father-in-law, Kurt. When the household is first played, she is 16 days away from aging up into an elder.
According to Tom's bio, his marriage was arranged by his late mother, which may explain why Tom and June have a mediocre relationship. It is possible that June only stays with Tom because he is rich, since her lifetime wish is to be a Gold Digger, and she has the commitment issues trait. She is disliked by her father-in-law; it is unknown why this is, though it is possible that he knows that June is a Gold Digger and does not really care about his son. If this is the case, then Kurt is very hypocritical since he has the same lifetime wish. June carries a laptop and a book in her inventory.
