He lives with his father, Kurt, his wife, June, and their two children, Dallas and MaryKay. When the household is first played, he is 14 days away from aging up into an elder.

Tom is unhappy with his current circumstances. According to his bio, his marriage was arranged by his late mother, which may explain why Tom and June have a mediocre relationship. His father has forced him to take up being a Report Processor in the business career. However, the Evil branch of the criminal career may suit him better because it fits his evil trait and lifetime wish to master the athletic and logic skills. Additionally, Tom's children are not growing up how he wants them to; he is presumably only friends with MaryKay because she, unlike her brother, fits more in line with his expectations due to her ambitious trait.
