Musical Machine is a trait chip in The Sims 3: Into the Future. It requires level 6 or higher bot building skill to be built.

In-game description

Turn any robot into a musical prodigy, granting them total mastery of every known instrument.

• Music Skill is raised to maximum for all instruments.
• Every song in Similization is instantly learned.
• Plumbot takes the initiative to play music on its own.

Required components

• Caustic nanite
• Heisenberg nanite
• Two small processors

Player notes

• Plumbots with this trait chip reach the maximum skill level with instrument skills from base game, Late Night, and Into the Future; but this does not work with the violin, which is an instrument skill from The Sims 3 Store.
• Such plumbots will also often pull out Late Night instruments from their inventories when jamming (provided that Late Night is installed), even in Oasis Landing, where such instruments are otherwise non-existent by default.
