A couch, sofa, or bench is a type of seating with 2 or more connected and inseparable sitting spots for Sims to sit on, and which are not designed to be used with tables.
Sims can opt to take a nap on couches, but cannot opt to get a full sleep on them.
Most couches have 2 or 3 seats, but some couches are modular,[TS2][TS3][TS4] allowing lot builders to attempt to place long rows and corners of one or more modular parts.
