Bored is an emotion in The Sims 4. It is generally obtained from interactions that make the Sim bored such as when performing the same interactions or conversations over and over, reading skill books below the Sim's level,[1] or watching TV channels that are not suited for one's traits or age group. Children and Teens can also get it when coming back from school.
Sims cannot die from boredom. This emotion can be removed by using an object in the household that increases the fun need, despite a low fun need giving Tense moodlets instead. Children and Teens can also feel bored after timeouts, although some may get the sad mood as well.
The Bored emotion does not have any further stages.
