Cow

Cows are a type of NPC animal found in The Sims 2 for Nintendo DS, GBA and PSP, the "Farm Fresh Folk Set" on The Sims 3 Store and The Sims 4: Cottage Living. Cows seem to be a recurring theme in The Sims series.
The Sims 2 (Nintendo DS)
Cows made their first debut in The Sims 2 for Nintendo DS. They are found in the field outside of Strangetown, near Jebidiah S. Jerky's home. They can be interacted with in three ways: players can either milk them, tip them over or give them a gift. Only chocolate seems to have an effect.
After the Sim has tipped the cow over, it will simply come back up. If a cow is milked after it has been tipped over it will produce a milkshake instead of a glass of milk. However, if the cow has been given chocolate it will produce chocolate milk, or chocolate milkshake (if it has been tipped over before). This feature is not profitable nor more effective in filling the need bar.
In the field, there's also a red colored bull. No interactions are allowed with this animal.
The Sims 2 (GBA)
Cows also appear in The Sims 2 for Game Boy Advance, but cannot be interacted with. They appear in the Cattle Cleanup minigame along with a red colored bull. Lore-wise, this is also Jebediah's farm.
The Sims 2 (PSP)
They also make an appearance in The Sims 2 for PlayStation Portable, but they are not interactable either. There are two cows inside the "Kine Dairy" building in Deadtree, place of worship of the Kine Society towards Beelzebeef, a god with the appearance of an enormous cow.

Cows returned to The Sims 3 in the "Milkin' It Dairy Corral" premium content included in the "Farm Fresh Folk Set" from The Sims 3 Store. In Buy Mode, it is located in "Decor" → "Sculptures", as opposed to in the "Pet Essentials" section.

Interactions
- Sims can milk cows to get milk.
- There is a 1hr cooldown between each time a cow can be milked.
- Milk can fulfill Sim's hunger need.
- Feeding the cow vegetables for §5 will make it produce soy milk, which will also revitalize the Sim's age (similar to Life fruit and ambrosia).
- Feeding the cow chocolate for §5 will make it produce chocolate milk, which will also boost fun.
- The vegetables and chocolate bars are spawned for the feeding interactions, and do not affect the Sim's inventory objects. The vegetables are served in a cone and do not resemble any vegetables that can be harvested from plants.
- Sims can turn 2 bottles of milk in their inventory, into 1 piece of cheese instantly.
- Sims can tip the cow and make it produce a milkshake.
- The milkshake can be either regular or chocolate, but cannot be soy or any other vegetable product.
- It is perfectly possible for a Sim to fail to tip the cow, regardless of Athletic skill level or any other skills' levels.
- Sims can play Tic-Tac-Hoof with a cow to increase the Logic skill.
